About Lighthouse Design Services

LDS is a Massachusetts-based company with all of their drafting done in the United States, founded by Andrew Smith in 2024 to fill the need for quality drafters. 

About the Founder- Andrew Smith

Andrew has been around the construction industry for most of his life. While attending a Center for Technical Education at Quincy for plumbing, he worked for local plumbers and builders gaining first-hand knowledge of what preplanning can save during the installation process. 

After college Andrew went back to what he knew best, Plumbing, but this time for a large commercial company. It wasn't long before he found his way into the office and began his journey as a plumbing coordinator. 

This is what Andrew did for the majority of his career until he decided it was time to try his hand at the General Contractor Level. Taking this step meant he could oversee the entire process and not just look out for a single trade but look out for the General Contractor by making sure all trades were modeling to the best of their ability. 

After working for a General Contractor for a while, Andrew made the move to work for himself to help as many companies as he possibly could and improve the Virtual Design and Construction game as a whole.
